Jeni K is a photographer whose passion for capturing moments spans decades. Introduced to the art at a young age, she began with a 1974 Pentax camera originally used by her mother to document Jeni’s own childhood. At the University of Colorado Boulder, she honed her craft in the darkroom, developing film and printing black-and-white images by hand.
Years and careers later, when digital photography emerged, Jeni rediscovered her passion for the medium and found that while technology had changed, the essence of photography remained the same. Understanding the camera, bringing a unique perspective, and experiencing the pure joy of creating an image.
Today, Jeni specializes in portrait photography and landscape art. She is particularly fond of families and children portraits, drawn to the genuine, candid moments that make each person’s story unique. Whether working with film or digital, Jeni brings a personal touch to every image, infusing it with creativity and heart.
Above all, her work celebrates the simple, beautiful moments often overlooked, by inviting viewers to see beauty and intrigue through her eyes.
